The Board of Trade National Department emitted Normative Instruction nº 106, on July 9th 2007, about the implementation of the National Agreement on Residence for the States Parts of Mercosul, as well as on the common rules for the authorization of residence to Brazilians and Argentines designated to advance in the regional integration process between both countries.
The main novelties of the Instruction is that enact, on its First Article, that the Argentine citizens who get the Temporary Visa for two years, based on the mentioned agreement, will be able to be assigned and/or elected for corporations or Brazilian cooperatives administrative functions, allowing these acts to be duly filed in the agencies of register of the entrepreneurs or mercantile companies (Boards of Trade), according to the native legislation and following the international rules, the agreements purposes and protocols firmed in the Mercosul scope.
The related Normative Instruction came into force on the date of its publication, on 07/17/2007.
