Neil Montgomery is the founding and managing partner of the law firm Montgomery & Associados. He was formerly an associate of the English law firm Richards Butler where he worked in the Shipping and International Trade and Commodities and Corporate Finance Departments, in London.
Mr Montgomery has been recognized in “Chambers Latin America - Latin America’s Leading Lawyers for Business - 2014 - The Client’s Guide” as a leading lawyer in four different categories. He is the only Brazilian qualified lawyer to have achieved this. Mr Montgomery prides himself on his comprehensive knowledge of the law in Brazil and this wide expertise assists him in finding practical solutions to the immigration issues faced by his corporate, professional and individual clients.
Mr Montgomery is a regular speaker at many Brazilian and international events and author of several published articles on Brazilian corporate and international law, aviation law, employment law, arbitration, insurance and reinsurance and competition law.
